Your Mobile App and Storefront
Every WebEatery restaurant gets two customer-facing surfaces: an online ordering storefront on the web, and branded mobile apps in the App Store and Google Play. This guide covers how they relate, who maintains them, and who owns what.
One Experience, Two Surfaces
The online ordering storefront and the branded mobile apps deliver the same experience—the same menu, ordering, rewards, and offers—apart from truly platform-specific features.
Updates and Maintenance
WebEatery handles the technical side—app development, hosting, updates, and maintenance—with updates pushed automatically through the App Store and Google Play.
There's nothing for you to build, deploy, or update—your job stays running the restaurant.
Look and Feel
Customization across your storefront and apps. Your brand colors, your choice of theme and icon style, and light and dark modes—not just a logo on a stock template.
Device Requirements
The branded mobile apps support iOS 15.1 and later, and Android 7.0 and later. The storefront runs in any modern web browser, so customers on other devices can always order there.
Ownership
Each restaurant's branded mobile apps are published by WebEatery on the restaurant's behalf—the brand, the content, and the customer data are the restaurant's. Restaurants can optionally hold their own Apple and Google developer accounts.
