Website Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how WebEatery (Thalione Corp.) ("WebEatery," "we," or "us") handles information collected from visitors to webeatery.app (the "Site").
The short version: we collect what you submit through our forms and what our cookies and analytics observe about your visit. We use it to respond to you, to understand and improve the Site, and—only if you opt in—to advertise WebEatery. We do not sell your personal information for money; if you opt in to advertising cookies, some identifiers are shared with our advertising partners, and you can turn that off at any time.
1. What This Policy Covers
This Policy covers the Site only. It does not cover:
- Restaurant storefronts and branded mobile apps. Ordering from a restaurant powered by WebEatery is governed by the privacy policy presented on that restaurant's storefront or app.
- Merchant accounts. Signing up for WebEatery creates a Merchant account at manage.webeatery.app, governed by the Merchant Services Agreement and its Data Processing Addendum.
2. Information We Collect
- Information you submit — name, email address, phone number, restaurant name, and anything else you include when you contact us, request a demo, or start a signup.
- Internet activity — device and browser type, pages visited, referring page, and interaction data, collected through cookies and similar technologies as described in the Cookie Policy. Analytics data is collected in cookieless, aggregated form unless you accept analytics cookies; advertising trackers do not run at all unless you opt in.
- Your consent choices — a record of the cookie and tracking preferences you set, so we can honor them.
We collect this information directly from you and automatically from your browser. We do not collect precise geolocation, and the Site has no user accounts.
3. How We Use Information
- To respond to inquiries and demo requests, and to follow up about WebEatery.
- To operate and secure the Site, including bot protection and abuse prevention.
- To measure and improve the Site through analytics.
- To advertise WebEatery—measuring ad conversions and reaching prospective customers—only where you have opted in to advertising cookies.
- To honor and evidence your privacy choices.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. How We Share Information
- Advertising partners. If you opt in to advertising cookies, Google and Meta receive identifiers and Site-activity data for ad measurement and remarketing. Under California law this may constitute "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising; Section 6 describes how to opt out, and we treat Global Privacy Control signals as a valid opt-out. We do not sell personal information for money.
- Service providers. Vendors that host and operate the Site and its infrastructure—including security (Cloudflare), consent storage, and email—under instructions limiting their use of your information to providing the service.
- For legal reasons. When required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Site.
- In a business transfer. If WebEatery is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
5. Cookies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies in three categories—strictly necessary, analytics, and advertising—managed through the consent banner and the Cookie Preferences link in the footer. The Cookie Policy lists every tracker, what it does, and how to change your choices at any time.
6. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what personal information we have about you, to access it, to correct it, to delete it, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To opt out of sharing: turn off advertising cookies in the banner or via the Cookie Preferences footer link, use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link, or enable Global Privacy Control in your browser—we honor GPC signals automatically. For all other requests: email legal@webeatery.app. We will verify requests using the information you provide and respond within the time required by law. You may use an authorized agent where the law provides for one.
7. Notice at Collection
At or before collection, we collect the following categories of personal information for the purposes described in Section 3: identifiers and contact information (from forms you submit; retained per Section 8); internet activity (from cookies and analytics, per your consent choices; retained per Section 8). We share identifiers and internet activity with advertising partners only if you opt in (Section 4), and you may opt out at any time (Section 6). We do not sell personal information for money.
8. Retention
- Form submissions and correspondence — as long as needed to handle your inquiry and our relationship with you, plus a reasonable period after.
- Consent records — your current choice is kept for as long as it remains in force (it is the instruction we operate under). Superseded choices are deleted three years after being replaced, and all consent records are deleted approximately three years after your last Site activity.
- Analytics data — per the retention settings of our analytics configuration, in aggregated or cookieless form where consent was not given.
9. Children
The Site is a business-to-business marketing site and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with its effective date, and for material changes affecting cookie categories we will re-prompt for consent.
